District Presents Vision and Strategy Progress Report

Just over a year ago the school district embarked upon development of a three year vision and strategy plan.  Both goals and initiatives were established in three primary areas:  Academic Programs, Safety and Security, Communication and Community Engagement.  Parents, staff and community members served on committees that noted district strengths as well as areas for improvement.  Those sessions provided content that our Board of Education and administrators worked from in creation of the final strategic plan.  It has been titled 2021 Vision and Strategy.

Our intent is to keep the community informed of the progress made toward achievement of the goals and initiatives.  This validates that the work had meaning.  The goals and initiatives are not just a document, but are guiding our decision making and actions.  We intend to release a 2021 Vision and Strategy Progress Report at the end of each school semester and summer.

The document presented indicates work done toward the goals to date.  Much of the progress so far has been in training of staff.  Gaining knowledge is the first step to support change.  As you look through the document if you have questions, comments or need clarification please contact either Tim Hopkins, Superintendent at hopkinst@brookvilleschools.org or 833-2181 or Stephanie Hinds, Director of Curriculum at hindss@brookvilleschools.org or 833-6761 ext. 2111.
