2021 Vision and StrategyJust over a year ago the school district embarked upon development of a three year vision and strategy plan.  Both goals and initiatives were established in three primary areas:  Academic Programs, Safety and Security, Communication and Community Engagement.  Parents, staff and community members served on committees that noted district strengths as well as areas for improvement.  Those sessions provided contect that our Board of Education and administrators worked from in creation of the final strategic plan.  It has been titled 2021 Vision and Strategy.

District Goals Set for 2018-19

2019 District Goals

Having a vision of where we want to be provides us the framework to develop goals. In turn, that vision creates a shared purpose.  Once a team, or in this case our staff, understands our vision and goals, it allows us to work collaboratively with purpose.  And, working with purpose can be energizing.

At Brookville Schools, we divide these annual goals into three very distinct categories; 1) Student Success, 2) Instructional Practices and 3) Staff Wellness Goals.  Therefore, we work daily at student achievement, personal professional development and role modeling strong social and physical practices.

2021 Vision and Strategy

At the June, 2018 Brookville Board of Education Meeting, a document titled Brookville Local Schools 2021 Vision and Strategy was adopted.  This document was the product of significant input last winter from district stakeholders.  The school district sought out feedback from staff, parents and community members to identify our strengths and weaknesses, external threats, future opportunities and finally, recommendations.
