School to Start on Time!

High SchoolWe are pleased to inform you that school will open on time, Thursday, August 15.  The dates established for kindergarten bus ride, open houses in each building, freshman orientation and schedule pick ups will occur as originally planned.  These dates can be found on each building website.  We are grateful for the tremendous effort put forth by everyone involved in our disaster recovery and restoration.  While some isolated areas of the roof are still being repaired and outside work in particular is still in progress, none of these will delay the start of our school year.

It is very important that if you or someone you know is displaced because of the tornado and want to continue attending Brookville Schools, you notify us as soon as possible.  There is paperwork and coordination of services for this to be done.

If you know of students who will have difficulty with supplies, clothing, any school essentials or even emotional counseling related to the tornado, please have them contact the schools.  We have numerous organizations and agencies that stand ready to provide help.

Finally, FEMA will be at the entrance of the high school Saturday, August 3rd from 9am to 1pm to assist anyone who needs to file FEMA paperwork for tornado relief and aide.

Thank you for your patience, we look forward to seeing all our students for the start of school Thursday, August 15.
