Brookville High School Announcements

It was another great night for the Blue Devil Wrestlers. We defeated Northmont 49-26. Winning for Brookville Khayden Jacobs, Bailey Larson, Mason Esterline, Owen Ashworth, Devon Myers, Dylan Starnes, Chase Dyer, Luke Williams, and Matt Hamm. Great job gentlemen!



Don't forget, Brookville's home swim meet is tonight at Trotwood High School. Seniors will get recognized before the meet at 5:40. We hope to have a lot of student support! Come and support the Brookville Swim Team.


All students interested in doing track and field, who are not in a winter sport.  Preseason practice has started.  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-4. Any questions, see Mr. Barrera.


Attention current freshman, sophomore, and junior girls interested in playing volleyball next year, there will be an informational meeting on January 22nd immediately after school in the cafeteria. If you are interested and cannot attend, please see Coach Hunley. 


Attention boys not in a winter sport in grades 9-10-11-12 interested in playing baseball next spring for the Blue Devils. Open Gyms are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-6 PM at Westbrook. Come and join the fun!


Sophomores, if you are interested in going to CTC next year, you must apply by February 1st to ensure that your applications are completed by the first round deadline.


Seniors, the priority deadline for many schools to apply for financial aid is February 1st.  Be sure to file your FAFSA if you have not done so!  To file, go to


Seniors, check your email for the google survey called "FAFSA Completion." This was sent by Miss Duckro. Please fill this out by Friday, January 24th.


Seniors, the busy time for local scholarships to come out is NOW.  Be sure to check emails frequently for information from Miss Duckro.  Recent scholarships emailed to you include: the OSU Alumni Foundation Scholarship, Franklin B Walter scholarship, Milton Kantor, and the Dayton Area military officers association scholarship. Also, don't forget that Scholarship Connect through the Dayton Foundation is now OPEN- go to to apply to many more local scholarships.  Be sure to apply to all you are eligible for so you don't miss out!


Seniors: We are collecting copies of your college acceptance letters to post on the bulletin board outside of the guidance office. Some of you have already provided us a copy of your acceptance letter (s) but if you have not, please stop by guidance and we can make a copy to post! If you have multiple letters, you can let us know which college(s) you would like out on display. Stop by guidance if you have any questions!


Seniors, if you have at least a 3.0 GPA and a 23 ACT score, Indiana University East has scholarships for you!  See Miss Duckro if you are interested. Interested students would need to apply and be accepted to IU East by February 15th to take advantage of the scholarships. 




Relay for Life team meeting at lunch today, Wed. 1/22 in the gym.

Students need to download the StudentSquare from the app store and sign in with google.


If you are driving to school, remember you MUST register your car and get a tag.  There is no charge for parking, but all students must register.  Get your registration form in the office today.


Miss Hunley's class wants to encourage everyone to increase recycling around the high school. Recycling reduces the amount of waste, conserves natural resources, prevents pollution, and saves energy. Miss Hunley's class will be collecting recycling bins on Friday mornings during first period. Please have your bins in the hallway.


Even though the homeroom Box Top Competition is over, Mrs. Spangler and Link Crew are still collecting Box Tops.  Thank you for your support!
